The elements of creative movement help foster expressive, conscious children who are in touch with who they are and are therefore less likely to seek negative attention as they mature. Social and emotional development is a key component in building critical thinking, problem solving, self-awareness and self-control. Children that learn to think, make good decisions and are aware of their actions/reactions produce adults that do the same. Creative Movement allows children to actively explore their bodies through movement in a fun, creative environment while learning who they are. They are equipped with creative ways to both understand and express that.
